Sep defs not updating Live sex cam without any accont
For many Mines computers, the update process is automatic. In "managed" SEP installations -- the kind of installation generally performed by CCIT staff on school-owned computers in offices and labs -- the software will periodically update itself and no further user intervention is required.Once it'll say under 1MB to download next it'll say 3.88MB and then finally it updates. When it does fail, I re-run Live Update and then it updates but sometimes the file size is larger, like it updates after it has failed. This started happening after last product update to V28.0.50.
All other updates including the SDS definitions are updating fine.
If I run it again after a successful download, it will always say it's up to date.
I don't think it is an issue of getting the virus definition. Well, first of all - this site is really not a substitute for the Symantec's techsupport.
Make sure you review the benefits of upgrading to the latest version of SEP 12.1.x, and check out Symantec’s Help diagnostic tool to determine if your system meets the minimum requirements.
There are a lot of moving parts to admin work, so here is a list of Symantec’s guides to content revision configuration, server certificate updates, GPO, testing authentication, central deployment, Live Update, and clients with both SEP and Data Loss Prevention: If your users do not use a VPN, you should change the Live Update policy setting to use the default Symantec Live Update server – this allows remote clients to update any time they connect to the Internet.
